DESCRIPTION
EI 3 fire rated access hatches are designed to provide self-contained fire protection for a period of 3 minutes. They are made to measure and must be fitted to the ceiling, and are perfectly suited to false ceilings. The EI 3 fire rated access hatches prevent the spread of fire in the rooms where they are installed, in accordance with the "fire load on room side only" requirement. Available with 18 mm or two 12.5 mm plasterboards, the EI 3 fire rated access hatches are available in various sizes. The integrated frame is made of aluminium and is equipped with a firewall. The inspection equipment is also fitted with a cover surrounded by a type DF plasterboard and has a multi-purpose perimeter seal to protect it from smoke infiltration. Automatic safety latches secure the cover on both sides and ensure it is intercepted if the hatch is opened. The cover is easy to remove and replace. Tested for fire resistance from below (room side) to comply with standard NF EN 1634-1:+A1: 218, the EI 3 fire rated access hatches are certified by CSTB, PV N° RS19-64|A (18 mm) and CSTB, PV N° RS19-64|C (2 x 12.5 mm). They are characterised by their acoustic performance of 39 dB.
